ELIZABETH:

My story began when I was twelve in a hot, stinky barn on the banks of Lake Erie one August night. For the first time I heard about the love of Jesus. The story overwhelmed me, His love captured me, and His friendship has sustained me since. Looking back nearly 25 years later, this life in Jesus has been one incredible adventure that has begun each day with an invitation to love.  I will share much of those adventures and stories here.

I have met some great people but here is a short introduction to my favorite.

AUSTIN:

We briefly met at a small Mexican restaurant in November 2003. We had mutual friends and he was going to show my Dad and I around the college campus where I was looking to finish my degree.  I came back to start school in January. Our first date was at the end of January and he proposed mid March. The biggest adventure of my life began July 3, 2004 when we were married.

He is the best man I know.  He loves completely and fully. He is logical, yet funny; loud yet gentle. He is the left brain logic to my right brain dreamer. As my Dad would say “the yin to your yang.”

CLARA:

Our first born.  She is a carbon copy of her Dad with a sensitive streak. She processes life with a maturity beyond her years.  While she is logical, she is a dreamer; and she dreams BIG. This one will change the world loving one person at a time.

MORIAH:

Our third, yet second in birth order. She is strong. She is loyal. She is our greatest adventurer. She came by way of an adoption but everyday she possesses more and more of our DNA. Daily, she reminds me of the love of Jesus. She inspires everywhere she goes.

TESSA:

The baby. She is fiery. She is feisty.  She is often called “spicy.”  In her heart she knows she is a princess and prefers all things pretty. She is quick witted and thoughtful. She makes us laugh. She is our cup of joy running over.

STELLA & JUSTUS:
